While I had hoped to embark on another incredible international opportunity, despite my best efforts, the right chance has remained elusive. Still, I hold onto hope that something will come through before it’s too late. Though there’s always a tinge of disappointment, I remain deeply grateful for the experiences I’ve had and the incredible colleagues I’ve worked with over the years.

What truly brings me joy is seeing so many of my former ICTR colleagues continue their service in development and international justice—some even rising to global high-level positions and making meaningful contributions worldwide. Their success is well-earned and deeply inspiring. I have no doubt that my UN colleagues will continue to shape diplomacy, development, international justice, security, and governance in profound ways.

Wishing them all continued success in their journeys. Their achievements are a testament to the dedication and excellence we all shared at ICTR. I look forward to crossing paths again—hopefully at the ICTR Alumni Reunion in Arusha this September 2025!
